Operant conditioning theory

 Skinner's operant conditioning theory

B.F. Skinner’s Operant Conditioning Theory states that learning takes place through rewards and punishments. Behaviour followed by a reward (reinforcement) is likely to be repeated, while behaviour followed by punishment is less likely to occur again. Skinner believed that behaviour can be shaped and modified by controlling its consequences
